Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic and growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires a confident and compassionate individual who is comfortable working with patients of all ages, including children, and be eager to contribute to a positive dental experience. Responsibilities Prepare rooms and assist the dentist Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs (X-rays). Assisting in maintaining accurate patient records. Educate patients on their treatment plans, good oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment care. Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies. Assist in managing a positive and flowing experience for all our patients. Skills Experience in Dental Assisting Familiarity with Open Dental software an asset. Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Outgoing, with communication skills to interact with patients and staff professionally. Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing and compartmentalizing multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in intraoral scanning, invisalign, bleaching, temp crowns, etc. are assets Days available are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (8-5) and 2-3 Saturdays/month (9-2).
