We have a small team and we are looking for someone that is excited join the team This is a full time position that. It will require someone that has experience in decorating cakes with buttercream icing, and enjoys baking. The shifts will be spit between cake decorating shifts and baking shifts. Responsibilities: - following recipes to specification -Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes etc. -Take orders for cakes over the phone and in person. -create and follow a production list based on what items are needed or special orders for that day maintaining a clean work environment throughout the day. Includes washing dishes. Communicate and work with team members to ensure all the tasks for the day get accomplished. help with tracking inventory to let owner know when items need to be ordered Food handling certification is required. Maintains proper presentation and rotation of prepared baked goods for sale in the retail store and market. All employees will complete their tasks of the day, wash their dishes and clean and sanitize their work areas, sinks, worktables shelves, and gather garbage, sweep, mop etc. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
