The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and materials to various destinations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations. Duties Operate commercial trucks to deliver freight and materials across designated routes Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance Safely load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation Perform minor automotive repairs and troubleshooting when necessary Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues Assist with warehouse duties including forklift operation for loading/unloading cargo Qualifications Valid commercial driver''s license (CDL) with clean driving record Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures diligently Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks as required This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a dynamic logistics team while ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.
