About Unblocked Unblocked is a highgrowth, wellfunded SaaS company that helps answer questions software development teams have about their applications. About You Youve gained solid experience as a software engineer with a track record of building and shipping products that customers love. Youve implemented a variety of user interfaces, from simple forms to complicated, multiview workflows. You have a keen attention to detail; you arent happy until everything is pixelperfect. What Youll Do - Implement user interfaces and workflows for our client applications: the Unblocked website, IDE plugins, and Mac App. - Implement designs for our marketing sites and email campaigns. - Define client/server APIs, and help with the implementation of API services. - Collaborate with our design team to help define user interfaces and workflows. - Help define the Unblocked product roadmap. Requirements - Based in Vancouver, British Columbia (and be in the office4 days a week). - Intermediatelevel software development skills using modern web APIs and libraries. - Experience building views using reactive technologies (React, Vue, etc). - Experience building applications using TypeScript or JavaScript. - Experience with client datahandling techniques: fetching, processing, and caching. Desirable Skills - Experience with webadjacent technologies, like Electron and Node. - Experience building client applications using platformnative languages and tools. - Experience building client/server APIs and backend services. - Experience designing user interfaces.
