Job Description

The Workday Functional Consultant responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday HCM modules, with a strong focus on Recruiting and Compensation. This role involves collaborating with HR and Finance teams, gathering requirements, and delivering optimized solutions aligned with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesConfiguration & ImplementationConfigure Workday Core HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation modules, including business processes, eligibility rules, and security roles.Set up job requisitions, candidate workflows, and recruiting sub-processes.Implement compensation structures, merit plans, bonus plans, and pay group codes.Support annual compensation cycles and perform data audits.Requirement Gathering & WorkshopsConduct workshops and requirement sessions with stakeholders.Document functional specifications and develop training materials.Integration & Data ManagementCollaborate with technical teams for seamless integration and data migration using EIB and Workday Studio.Ensure compliance with payroll and finance alignment during compensation configuration.Testing & SupportPerform functional and regression testing during Workday releases.Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues related to Recruiting and Compensation.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with HR teams to align compensation structures with talent strategies.Partner with Finance for budget planning and payroll integration.Mentoring & LeadershipGuide junior consultants on best practices for Recruiting and Compensation configuration.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: 48+ years in Workday HCM with specialization in Recruiting and Compensation.Technical Knowledge: Workday Recruiting: Job requisition, candidate management, alerts, notifications.Workday Compensation: Merit plans, bonus plans, compensation matrix, eligibility rules.Familiarity with EIB, Workday Studio, and integration concepts.Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.Education: Bachelors degree in HR, IT, or related field.Certifications: Workday HCM Core, Recruiting, and Compensation certifications preferred.
