POSITION OVERVIEWThe Digital Strategy & Performance Specialist strengthens Ficomms ability to deliver modern, measurable, marketing-enabled growth for our clients. This role is the connective tissue between strategy and execution ensuring websites, automation, analytics, and digital channels are optimized, and working together to advance a firms visibility, engagement, and conversion outcomes.A critical part of this role is understanding the advisor marketing technology landscape. This includes lead-generation platforms (SmartAsset, Zoe, WiserAdvisor) and prospecting tools (Finny, Catchlight, AIdentified, and others), and being able to evaluate which platforms best support a clients business model, growth strategy, and budget. This specialist brings forward recommendations grounded in strategy, data, and an understanding of how these tools influence conversion, nurturing, and long-term pipeline performance.This person brings deep hands-on expertise across SEO/AEO, website optimization, marketing automation, and cross-channel performance. They translate strategic direction from Strategic Leads into fully executed digital workflows, dashboards, and improvements that move the needle. They are technical, resourceful, curious, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where precision matters and standards are high.RESPONSIBILITIESDigital Strategy & ExecutionExecute digital strategies in partnership with Strategic Leads, ensuring alignment between brand, messaging, and user experience.Lead SEO and AEO optimization efforts, including keyword strategy, technical audits, schema, and on-page improvements.Support digital ad campaigns by providing recommendations, tagging, tracking, and performance insights.Marketing Automation & Nurture CampaignsBuild and optimize automated email and nurture workflows in HubSpot, Pardot and other CRM/marketing automation platforms.Partner with Strategic Leads to map and optimize buyer journeys, lead scoring models, and conversion funnels.Create reporting dashboards and translate analytics into digestible insights and next-step recommendations.Content, Distribution & Cross-Channel SupportCoordinate digital publishing across web, social, and email to ensure cohesive execution.Partner closely with writers, designers, and PR to ensure content is optimized for digital consumption and discoverability.Support social scheduling, tagging, and performance monitoring as needed.Innovation & Continuous ImprovementMonitor multi-channel performance and identify opportunities for optimization.Stay ahead of platform updates (search, social, AI-driven search tools, HubSpot changes, etc.) and bring forward recommendations that keep Ficomm and our clients modern and relevant.Evaluate tools and processes that enhance efficiency, compliance, accuracy, and automation.Evaluate and make recommendations on marketing technology platforms and tools (lead-gen, automation, analytics) that align with client budgets and objectivesMarketing Audits & DiscoveryConduct comprehensive digital marketing audits for new client onboarding (website, SEO/AEO, analytics setup, marketing automation, social presence)Assess current marketing technology stack and identify gaps or optimization opportunitiesBenchmark client performance against industry standards and competitorsDocument findings and collaborate with Strategic Leads to develop strategic recommendations that align with client goals, best practices, and budgetQUALIFICATIONS4-6+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally within a marketing agency or the financial services industry.Deep expertise in SEO/AEO and marketing automation systems (HubSpot required; familiarity with WordPress, Webflow, or similar).Proven ability to translate analytics and technical data into actionable recommendations.Demonstrated experience managing multi-channel campaigns and optimizing digital ecosystems for measurable growth.Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.Agile mindset and passion for continuous learning in a fast-changing digital environment.Experience conducting marketing assessments or audits (particularly for financial services firms)Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendationsUnderstanding of financial services compliance requirements as they relate to digital marketingProven ability to work collaboratively with senior strategists to develop client-specific marketing plansExperience presenting findings and recommendations in a clear, professional manner
