This includes fabrication of accessories (such as casts), treatment localization (through operation of conventional simulator and operation of CT scanner with simulation software, treatment calculations (in-depth knowledge of treatment plans, dosimetry and outputs), data entry (for record and verify system and online image acquisition system), treatment delivery including external beam therapy and brachytherapy in the OR (utilizing multiple different units and technologies), handling of radioactive sources and student teaching and precepting (for radiation therapy students, residents and visiting students).About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program in Canada or a non-Canadian program recognized by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation TechnologistsLicense and registration with the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy ProfessionalsExcellent working knowledge of relevant computer software programsDemonstrated communication and interpersonal skillsCompetencies in other languages an asset, French preferredPlease ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.HoursPermanent full-time positions available; 75 hours biweeklyFull-time long assignments available; 75 hours biweeklyCompensation and Benefits$46.79 - $55.92 HourlySuccessful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.Once You've AppliedThank you for your interest in this position.
