Position Information Position #: 192638 Expected Start Date: August 11, 2025 Union: HSAS Facility: Scott Towes on Loise Street City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Speech&Language Pathology - Childrens Rehab Type: Part-time temporary Expected Up to Date: November 30, 2026 FTE: 0.8 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 24 shifts of 7.5 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Speech Language Pathologist - Masters $43,309 to $52,958 Travel Required: Yes Job Description Reporting to the Primary Health Manager, within the context of a client and family centered care model, in accordance with established standards of professional practice, and the vision, mission and values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), the Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultation services to children (birth to entry into kindergarten) with speech and language delays and disorders. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. Human Resources Exemption No Education & Qualifications Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Demonstrates care for and with clients and families Knowledge of resources available to 0-5 population and caregivers in urban area Knowledge of needs of young children and social and environmental factors Ability to work independently Knowledge of social determinants of health affecting vulnerable populations Knowledge of intervention strategies for youth & families based on best practice Ability to adapt to and implement change Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with young children individually and in small groups.
