Reporting directly to the Director of Production Services the Associate Producer Assigned to Video Editing and Content Packaging will play a critical role in helping create and distribute journalistic and current affairs content to audiences on multiple visual platforms which would include our linear television broadcast, local FAST channels and social platforms. We Are Looking For a Candidate With The Following A passion, knowledge, and understanding of Saskatchewans diverse communities. Understanding of audience needs and expectations for news and current affairs content. A strong foundation in video editing in Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere. Innovative, with proven ability to use video and sound creatively. Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Takes direction well, works cooperatively but also a self-starter. Able to juggle multiple priorities and enjoys varying tasks. Ability to work effectively under deadline pressure and to work flexible hours as required. Proven ability to write and edit videos, video headlines, and thumbnail photos using best practices for various platforms is also an asset. Combination of education and experience equivalent to a postsecondary education and three (3) years of relevant experience in TV and media arts. We want to hear you, and see the work that youve done.
