About the Position The Faculty of Social Sciences invites applications for an Instructional Limited Term Appointment position for one year in the Department of Applied Disability Studies at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2026. The successful candidate will teach graduate courses in our ABA specialization, participate in department affairs, and fulfill service commitments to the Department and the University. The successful applicant will be expected to teach eight halfcredit courses in various locations across Ontario (as assigned). Teaching can occur during the day, evenings, or weekends and may include inperson, online synchronous and/or asynchronous classes, as well as blended or hybrid offerings. More information about the Department of Applied Disability Studies is available at The workload of an Instructional Limited Term Appointment Faculty shall normally be 80% teaching and 20% service. Qualifications We seek candidates for the Department of Applied Disability Studies with a completed Ph.D. in a relevant discipline within Social Sciences (e.g., Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Child and Youth Studies, Disability Studies), Education, Social Work, or other relevant discipline by the appointment start date or shortly thereafter and be eligible for registration as a Registered Behaviour Analyst in Ontario and must possess a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Behavior AnalystDoctoral (BCBAD) designation. The applicant must provide evidence of successful teaching, research, and professional experience in behaviour analysis.
