The Role: As a Supervisor, the individual is responsible for supervising a group of employees involved in production, or operations. The group is responsible for quality products in a safe and timely manner! Also, the CoOp student will be responsible for reducing costs, eliminating waste, and improving safety practices. Together with other Supervisors, you are part of a team supporting business objectives, and maintaining operation at a worldclass level! Some of the problemsolving work is of a technical nature. This type of work requires the ability to make timely decisions within specified limits, that the individual can effectively cope with change, and can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty. Furthermore, the Supervisor can expect to be collaborating on innovation challenges, interacting with industry leaders, attending professional trade events, and volunteering for community service activities. Key Responsibilities: Supervise hourly represented employees in a unionized environment Implement Health & Safety laws, and promote a safe work environment Ensure quality levels are maintained and improved every day Maintain and exceed efficiency levels through continuous improvements Effective use of personnel, material and equipment Align with terms of local and national labour agreements Maintain department records and complete various administrative tasks Supervise and achieve business plan objectives and targets Shift rotations and flexible to work weekends and overtime as required Qualifications: Pursuit of a Post Secondary Education with a Coop component preferably (3rd or 4th year) Able to work 40 hours per week in Canada and for 8, 12, or 16month term (2-4 consecutive semesters) starting May 2026 Willing to work in a plant environment and flexible hours (shift work, weekends, and overtime to meet business needs) YOU MUST BE ENROLLED IN A COOP OR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AND MEET THE PROGRAMS ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS.
