Job Description: As a Health & Wellness Sales Associate at Genesis Nutrition you will be responsible for providing hands on customer service such as offering specific product knowledge on a wide variety of vitamins, minerals, sports nutrition, and herbal supplements. As a member of the team daily tasks will include operating the register, merchandising, general store cleanliness, opening and closing responsibilities and other day to day duties. At Genesis we carry a variety of health and wellness supplements and we try our best to provide our customers with valued information for them to choose which supplements will best suit their needs. Our ideal employee for this position: Your deeply rooted in the fitness & wellness lifestyle, Maybe you have studied, coached, competed, or just lived and breathed the wellness lifestyle and fitness for years. your familiar and understand a wide range of supplements that are available - from pre-workouts to protein and nutraceuticals that actually make a difference. Your confident starting conversations, love helping others feel their best, and bring that uplifting, motivating vibe people feed off. You''re proactive, not passive- the type who keeps busy and makes things happen, even during slower hours. You Must be personally passionate and active in perusing optimum Wellness & Fitness. Must be someone who believes they are an ambassador to the Wellness & Fitness field. Must be hungry to learn and share everything you can about the products we carry and the wellness and fitness industry with an open mind. Must have solid working product knowledge of supplements Must have minimum of two years retail experience within a health and wellness position. You are a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Personal Trainer or has equivalent credentials Must be comfortable in a sales position, with the ability to create awareness and to hear and address specifically the needs of the customer. Must be able to engage with all customers and Co-workers, in an inviting, energetic , uplifting and respectfully considerate & pleasant manner. Must be available to work flexible shifts that would include weekends. Is a passionate, hardworking individual who is willing to help build and contribute, being part of a local long standing Vancouver community business. Must be a team player, willing to learn and take direction, contribute constructively and have a open adaptable mind, being willing to be flexible when needed to fulfill company needs & goals. Must be willing to attend, support, participate and contribute in trainings, trade shows, company promotions & events plus social media engagement.
