Company Overview Sure Shot Environmental Ltd. is an Alberta-based company providing Industrial Vegetation Management Services to utility, energy, and municipal clients. Our work includes vegetation control and maintenance at substations, utility rights-of-way, and renewable energy facilities such as solar farms. Safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship are core to everything we do. We are currently hiring Rough-Cut Mowing Crew Members to support our vegetation maintenance programs throughout Alberta. Job Summary This position involves road-based vegetation maintenance, primarily focused on rough-cut grass mowing at industrial and utility sites. Crews travel between work locations and may work extended days of up to 14 hours, depending on project requirements, weather, and seasonal demands. This is a physically demanding but rewarding role for individuals who enjoy outdoor work, long hours, and being part of a crew that takes pride in getting tough work done efficiently and safely. Duties Operate rough-cut mowing equipment Perform vegetation maintenance at Electrical substations, Utility rights-of-way, and Solar farms and industrial sites. Assist with site setup, cleanup, and debris removal Conduct basic daily equipment inspections and maintenance Follow all safety procedures, site rules, and company policies Accurately complete daily work and equipment records Work as part of a crew in remote and industrial environments Training will be provided for any equipment you are required to operate. Required Skills 18 years of age or older Valid Class 5 Driver''s License Physically fit and capable of strenuous outdoor work Comfortable working long days and extended hours Ability to work as part of a crew with minimal supervision Strong safety awareness and positive work attitude First Aid/CPR, CSTS 2020, H2S Preferred Assets Experience operating tractors, mowers, or agricultural equipment Trailering and towing experience Previous vegetation maintenance, landscaping, or utility ROW experience Join us to be part of a dynamic team committed to environmentally responsible vegetation management This paid seasonal position offers hands-on experience in landscape maintenance while supporting the health of outdoor environments.
