Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties Lead and supervise the kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and support personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment Develop and implement innovative menus that align with the restaurant''s concept and customer preferences Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency in every dish served Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain rigorous sanitation standards Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless food service and customer satisfaction Oversee catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely execution and high-quality offerings Manage shift schedules, labor costs, and operational budgets to optimize efficiency Train new staff members on culinary techniques, safety procedures, and service standards Monitor kitchen operations regularly to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed Skills Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining and catering services Proven supervising experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience working within dietary departments Expertise in food production, menu planning, and food service management Skilled in inventory management and control to ensure cost-effective operations Proficiency in food safety standards and sanitation practices Experience with kitchen management systems and food handling procedures Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently during shift management Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments Background in banquet experience, hospitality management, or restaurant experience is highly desirable This role is ideal for a dynamic culinary professional eager to lead a talented team while delivering exceptional dining experiences.
