Our Values Inclusive Impactful Non-Judgmental Our Culture Innovative Transparent Open-Minded Collaborative Respectful Belonging JOB STATEMENT As part of the Client Services team, the Digital Marketing Strategist will work directly with small business owners to enhance their digital presence and expand their reach to new customers. This role requires someone with strong digital marketing experience and a proven ability to deliver outstanding client service. You are an outgoing professional with a passion for small business and entrepreneurship in Alberta. Reporting to theManager, Client Services, this position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Alberta''s dynamic small business community by supporting and strengthening their online marketing efforts. LOCATION Edmonton or Calgary (One position cross-posted for both locations) ROLE COMPONENTS Respond to incoming client inquiries and proactively schedule initial consultations with new clients. Conduct research on client businesses and lead them through a Digital Assessment to identify suitable digital marketing strategies. Support business owners in prioritizing goals and implementing digital tools such as social media platforms and online business profiles. Support with digital marketing tasks and provide valuable resources, including guides, tutorials, and videos. Deliver webinars and educational sessions and represent the program at community events (some travel required). Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the CRM system, submit weekly activity reports, and actively participate in team meetings. QUALIFICATIONS Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with 1-2 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. Highly organized with strong time management abilities. Able to work independently and willing to travel as required. Familiarity with digital tools and platforms relevant to small businesses (e.g., websites, social media, e-commerce). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint). Experience using Slack Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of small business and entrepreneurship is considered an asset. Detail-oriented with a combination of creative and analytical thinking. Experience in both online and offline marketing is considered a strong asset. Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate in French is an asset. Experience working with BIPOC communities is considered an asset. A valid Class 5 driver''s License is an asset.
