The Content Manager U.S. Structured Materials is accountable for Clios U.S. legislative and regulatory content, including statutes, session laws, and administrative codes. This collection is a foundational pillar of Clios legalcontent moat and a critical input into Vincent AIs legal reasoning and research capabilities. As product and infrastructure owner, you will drive coverage parity, currency, enrichment quality, and operational resilience across U.S. federal and state jurisdictions, ensuring Clio delivers authoritative, continuously updated, and intelligently structured legislative data that competes with Westlaw and LexisNexis. What you'll work on: Own the U.S. Structured Materials Collection as a Product Define and execute roadmap, establish KPIs, and drive ROI through customer trust, winrate uplift, retention, and ARR. Coverage Gap Analysis & Expansion Planning Maintain a jurisdictionlevel heatmap, prioritize remediation and expansion, and lead build/buy/license decisions with Licensing, Legal, and Corporate Development. Pipeline, Infrastructure & Technology Stewardship Prioritize backlog with Content Ops & Engineering, evolve ingestion and enrichment pipelines (including migration to Iceberg), and ensure resilience, monitoring, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery. Legal Data Enrichment & Innovation Evaluate and improve enrichment, govern metadata and structural standards, and lead programs combining editorial expertise and AI to enhance usability and AI readiness. ROI & Performance Management Quantify impact with Finance and FP&A, maintain dashboards on cost per document, ingestion throughput, coverage parity, and update reliability, and present quarterly updates to the Content Committee. Market Intelligence & Partnerships Benchmark Clios coverage and editorial quality against competitors, source partnerships with legislatures, publishers, and opendata initiatives, and track emerging AI/NLP approaches. Internal Enablement & SubjectMatter Leadership Act as Clios SME, enable Product, Sales, Marketing, and Support teams on coverage scope, differentiation, and competitive comparisons, and maintain an internal Structured Materials Reference Guide. Commercial & GotoMarket Support Serve as expert advisor on enterprise RFPs and strategic sales pursuits, partner with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to articulate differentiation, and provide competitive intelligence to inform pricing and packaging. What you may have: Experience 58 years in legal publishing, legal data operations, or product/content management. Deep understanding of the U.S. legislative and regulatory lifecycle, including the relationship between session laws, codified statutes, and administrative codes. Demonstrated experience interpreting legislative history lines and code structure. Skills Strong product ownership and crossfunctional leadership. Datadriven prioritization and ROI modeling. Technical literacy across ETL pipelines, ingestion systems, and metadata architectures. Clear communication with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
