Position Summary As a repo agent for the repair loan team, you are responsible for files that have reached 60+ days past due. Monitoring the files for missed opportunities, educating clients on the risks of being in default, managing loss prevention, creating legal warrants for seizure, processing repossessed vehicles and finalizing NOI''s and DOF. Responsibilities Spot-check and review agent files for accuracy, compliance, and completeness ensuring missed opportunities are addressed. Ensure all numbers, emails and points of contact have been attempted Follow up with other departments when necessary (Protection, investigations, auto) Ensuring that the client is aware of the risks having their file in default. Making sure that all information in the file is correct for a valid evaluation. Review of the warrant check list to ensure we have legal rights. Provide accurate information in the evaluation to ensure loan will be paid once sold. Create a warrant with all relevant documents attached Continue all efforts to resolve files that have been assigned. Provide the bailiff with updated information once received. Educate the client that their vehicle has a warrant for repossession issued. Have Admin Auto updated on all seized vehicles. Inform the Auction of arriving vehicles. Create the NOI once seized. Contact the client and inform them of the possibility of redemption. Review the DOF once the vehicle is sold. Qualifications: Proven experience as a collection agent. Knowledge of relevant legal requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to negotiate and persuade. Bilingual FR/EN Ability to be polite and compassionate without losing confidence. Professional knowledge of MS Office and databases. Diplomatic, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to handle delinquent accounts and late payments. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
