If you would like to be on a team of Great People delivering great service, we may have just the opportunity for you The job involves: Provides Artist Protection before, during and after performances Escorts Artists between the Casino and Entertainment Center, and to offsite venues or local attractions as required Provides visual and protective stage security Performs crowd control and access control duties Provides area security and personal protection, including movement through crowds and during meet & greet or autograph sessions while maintaining a high level of Artist privacy and confidentiality Assists with executing emergency procedures Provides leadership, guidance, supervision and coaching to a unionized Event Security guard team in crowd control, incident response, event duties & responsibilities Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation by promoting a safe and hazard free work environment Must be able to work extended periods in high-energy environments, crowded environments, including prolonged standing, exposure to loud music, flashing or restrictive lighting, and confined spaces Physical demands associated with this position include long periods of standing, extensive walking, ability to lift Works as one team for the success of the business, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills, respect and consideration for others Must thrive with an unconventional work schedule; flexibility to work various shifts to support a 24/7 operation frequently work evenings and extended hours on performance days Duties as assigned The ideal candidate has: College diploma in Law Enforcement & Security or equivalent Security experience working in a Casino or hospitality environment (or equivalent), or experience as a Police Officer, Firefighter or EMS Officer Experience supervising in a unionized environment First-aid & CPR certificate Private Security and Investigative Services Act license (as required) Smart Serve certification Remarkable guest service skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to tactfully de-escalate situations Strong organizational skills with specific attention to compliance and details Knowledge of relevant legislation including Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act Ability to respond during tense situations with sound judgement, tact and diplomacy while ensuring Artist safety We confirm that we do not use AI in screening of applicants, and this position is an existing vacancy We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted Niagara Casinos is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive environment by providing equal opportunity to candidates of all abilities.
