What You''ll Be Doing Stifel Canada is seeking a Sales and Trading Intern to join its Institutional Sales and Trading team for the Summer 2026 term. The Sales and Trading internship provides student(s) with a hands-on introduction to the role of a Junior Associate. You will work alongside our Sales and Trading professionals and will gain exposure to market analysis, trade execution support and client engagement. In Canada, we are primarily organized into industry teams focused on specific sectors. These include: Technology, Consumer, Diversified Industries, Life Sciences and Metals & Mining. Note This position is based at our Toronto office and requires in-person attendance. The role is for a new vacancy. Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually The base pay offered will be determined based upon the candidate''s skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs. What We''re Looking For The Sales and Trading Intern will be responsible for the following tasks, but not limited to: Collaborate with the team to provide ideas and research to institutional investors and clients; Support the desk with market analysis, pricing and trade execution; Assist in leveraging research products and increasing visibility of the equity research team through analyst marketing; Maintain accurate market data and manage tools such as Bloomberg and Salesforce; Participate in morning calls, client meetings and contribute to client engagement initiatives including corporate roadshows and events; and Adhere to all firm and regulatory policies by remaining up to date with all regulatory rules and activities as it relates to transactions. What You''ll Bring Seeking a 3rd year business/finance/accounting/statistics student with an interest in capital markets. The Intern candidate should possess outstanding academic records and have demonstrated strong leadership ability through involvement in extracurricular endeavors such as student government, athletics, and cultural and entrepreneurial activities. The ideal candidate will possess the following: Strong quantitative, interpretive and analytical skills; Demonstrated leadership and disciplined work ethic; Superior attention to detail; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous project deadlines; Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Ability to work in teams; and Highly-motivated and energetic.
