Cash Management Specialist (Permanent, Full-time) Location: Peterborough, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid Work Arrangement, requiring two days per week worked on-site Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Rate of Pay: $ $1,299.50 per week (plus applicable benefits) Position Description: As a Cash Management Specialist, you will: Work with the Manager, Cash Management, Commercial Account Managers and Retail and Wealth Branch partners to ensure all opportunities to provide cash management solutions are identified to build a full financial relationship with business members. Assist in maintaining the Central 1 AFT (Automated Funds Transaction) program. Supporting our existing portfolio with questions or problems and training and setting up any new members. Always keeping an up to date knowledge on any changes and ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date along with any messages required on DNA. Accountable for ensuring all cash management documentation is completed in an accurate manner and in compliance with company policies, procedures and legislative requirements. Provide advice and cash management expertise to meet the needs of our business members. Coach/mentor staff on identifying cash management needs. Analyze financial information and present holistic cash management reviews to both Members and Prospects. Make sound pricing recommendations based on risk, company policy, & legislation. Network and build rapport with COI and community members to build referral sources in the communities we serve. Provide general assistance to commercial members, anticipate and determine the needs of the members, ensure they are referred to the suitable service area. Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years banking experience, or; A three year College Diploma with an emphasis in Business Administration. Must have 3 years administration experience in a cash management role, preferably within commercial/small business. Experience working in a financial institution, preferably on the front-line would be considered an asset Solid and up-to-date knowledge of the Credit Union Cash management products and services, policies, procedures and standards.
