Job Description

Position Summary: Responsible for hands-on oversight of the sanitation team to ensure all sanitation targets are achieved for productivity. You are passionate about safety and promote a culture where safety comes first and have a keen sense for continuous improvement. What you are responsible for: Conducts daily cleaning and sanitation of production areas, production equipment, warehouse and welfare areas, floors (etc.) of the facility. Conducts daily cleaning and sanitation of the office and welfare areas Responsible for ensuring sanitation work is completed and compliant with food safety and quality standards. Supports the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of all Sanitation Practices. Completes all food safety and quality paperwork as required. Adheres to health and safety protocols. Performs all other relevant duties as required. Supports all food safety initiatives, including (but not limited to) BRCGS, HACCP, GMPs, Allergens, GFCP, Kosher, Halal, Customer Requirements (Such as Costco standards and Kraft Standards). Ensure all activities maintain the food safety, authenticity, legality, and quality of our products. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or additional duties may be assigned at any time. What you need to bring to Embassy: 3 years'' experience in a food sanitation role. Working knowledge of food and sanitation standards. Strong ability to communicate. Proven initiative and leadership skills. Intermediate PC skills and mathematical proficiency. Have strong knowledge of HACCP/GMP/JHSC. Positive and professional attitude. Superior communication skills in a multi-cultural environment and the ability to deal with a variety of front-line employee relations issues. Must be able to work all shifts. Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure. Ability to work on a flexible work schedule when required. Your Strengths: High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Detail oriented and accurate in performance of work. Enjoy working in a dynamic work environment with multiple demands. Hands on with Awareness and high sense of urgency. Highly organized/proven multi-tasker. Continuous learner and willingness to embrace change. Mobilizer can quickly assess a situation, required resources and drive execution A valid forklift license is an asset. Environmental conditions: Exposures to high-decibel environment, and dusty environment (non-toxic food ingredients). Exposure to wet environments. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment and Respiratory Protection responsibly as per Embassy Procedures. Physical effort/lifting, up to 25kg. Able to stand and walk throughout the shift, may require stooping, and climbing. This position is for a current vacancy with an hourly rate of $36.00/hour.
