We encourage applicants to apply with a friend, as if both of you are a great fit you will be put on the same crew Mandatory Job Requirements Full time access to a vehicle Minimum of a non-GDL drivers license What We Look for in an Applicant Independence, common sense, and high self-motivation Ability to actively problem-solve and take full responsibility of their crew''s job sites Physical ability to climb up and lift ladders, as well as work outside in the summer Attention to detail and finishing projects thoroughly Good communication skills Earning Expectations Your earnings are based on how quickly you pick up the skill of painting, which is a learning process that frequently turns out to be a lot easier than anticipated for our new hires. 90% of our first-year student painters (even those with little to no previous experience) are painting at a near professional level in two weeks due to our intensive hands-on training and encouraging one-on-one coaching. Our top painters usually make $23-$25 per hour; the average hourly rate across all painters is $20 per hour. A great work ethic and attention to detail will go a long way in making for a successful summer, being promoted, and increasing your wage quickly. Average expected earnings for a painter are $9,000 from May to August, although some of our best team members have made $18,000+ by utilizing all of our training resources, improving themselves quickly, taking initiative, and stepping into team leadership roles. At the start of your employment you will have a meeting with the company owner to determine how much you want to make this summer, and create a plan to give you enough hours to get there.
