The Opportunity We''re looking for a proactive Underwriting Assistant ready to dive into a fastpaced Central Operations environment. In this dynamic role, you''ll handle accurate data processing, streamline task distribution, and provide timely support to brokersmaking an immediate impact from day one. What you''ll do Process a variety of endorsement types within delegated authority using multiple internal systems Adhere to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Manage chats and calls from brokers via the triage queue, providing assistance with basic inquiries Collaborate with underwriting teams and brokers to obtain missing information as required Efficiently navigate triage queues, prioritizing the oldest tasks to maintain service standard Maintain a strong understanding of service level expectations to deliver exceptional customer service What you''ll bring Postsecondary education or equivalent experience Insurance background preferred, industry accreditation an asset Minimum 2 years in a support or operations role Thrives in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment Sharp multitasking abilities and quick to learn new systems Comfortable with highvolume, repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and speed Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management Adaptable, proactive, and confident working independently Strong judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills Genuine interest in building a longterm career in general insurance What makes you stand out Bilingual (English & French) considered a strong advantage What you''ll get The salary band for this position ranges from $45,000 to $60,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
