Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Manager, Calendar Analytics & Forecasting, Canada. Calendar Analytics serves a business-critical role in building Calendar sales and traffic plans that outperform competitors, support our long-term priorities, and drive sustainable growth for the Tims Canada restaurant business. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week out of our office in Toronto, ON. Role & Responsibilities: Own product-level forecasts for test and national marketing initiatives in assigned categories , improving accuracy rates over time Use a variety of data, incl. historical performance trends, consumer research, pricing assumptions, and more to build product-level forecasts Identify, track, and test key assumptions in partnership with Category Management and Demand Planning; gain approval from senior leaders in Marketing and Supply Chain Track and improve forecast accuracy; identify sources of variances and improve model and processes to improve accuracy , speed and reproducibility Report on performance of marketing initiatives in assigned categories, identifying root-level drivers to improve understanding Build and maintain models and dashboards to report weekly performance and month- and promo-end summaries Analyze performance drivers vs. forecast across the sales formula (guest count and frequency, attachment rate, effective price, etc.) to build and test hypotheses for variance, informing future strategy & forecast improvement opportunities Partner with Data Engineering, Consumer Insights, Performance Analytics, and other teams to deploy new data to uncover hidden insights Lead deep-dive analyses to translate underlying performance into actionable recommendations to improve the plan Identify trends in routine performance reporting and translate into larger hypotheses to test and build deeper understanding of guest behaviour Test your hypotheses by using guest- and token-level data to identify how cohorts change their purchase behaviour in response to various factors Generate recommendations for the Calendar, Category, and Innovation teams, as well as leadership and Restaurant Owner stakeholder groups Qualifications & Skills: 2+ years of relevant experience in product/portfolio strategy and/or analytics, financial modeling, management consulting, or similar; Strong acumen in data analysis, analytical and quantitative problem solving to form and test hypotheses to reach data-driven recommendations; Comfortable communicating advanced and complex analytical findings to business users and senior leaders; Advanced skill in SQL, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Base salary range of $100,000 $130,000 CAD. Base salary for this position may vary based on relevant factors such as experience, education, location, and skills. This position is eligible to participate in the Company''s annual discretionary bonus plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the incentive program, based on individual and company performance metrics. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity grants pursuant to the Company''s long-term incentive plan.
