For further information, visit the ministry website at This is a TEMPORARY (1 year) opportunity. Role Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, Administrative Law Programs, you will lead the Alberta SafeRoads branch in resolution of administrative penalties issued for contraventions of the Traffic Safety Act. Your team will provide Albertans access to a simple, fast, fair and efficient means of resolving traffic and impaired driving disputes. You will lead the strategic business planning, policy development, statutory requirements of the act and ensure decisions are adjudicated in a timely manner. You will also be involved in leading Administrative Law Programs'' interests related to impaired driving and road safety with federal, provincial, territorial and municipal governments working collaboratively with industry and stakeholders. Qualifications You bring extensive related senior management experience in, large, complex service delivery including multi-stakeholder environments, with knowledge of administrative fairness. You bring strengths in policy development, and/or legislative/policy making processes, an understanding of adjudicative process, and the ability to influence innovative outcomes. You have a background in an adjudication setting, meeting specific regulations and are recognized for empowering teams and promoting a partnering culture through an operational team. A related degree is required. Salary $5, $7,567.65 bi-weekly ($150, $197,515.67 yearly) Notes Final candidates will be required to undergo a security screening.
