Role: Commercial Sales Consultant Status: Permanent, Part Time New or Replacement: Replacement Position Reports to: General Manager Location: Tecumseh, ON Compensation: $20,000 - $25,000/per year Please note that the compensation range listed includes base salary and potential incentive pay. Incentives such as bonuses are not guaranteed and depend on individual performance and company results. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications. Position Summary The COMMERCIAL SALES CONSULTANT or CSC is an outside sales position responsible for developing Enercares large and medium-sized commercial and industrial HVAC construction sales in Advantage (rental) and is responsible to increase revenue. This is accomplished through customer presentations and lead generation of new customers with the hope of building long-term relationships with these commercial/industrial customers in order to grow the customer base and retain customers. The CSC should be highly ambitious, results-oriented, and self-motivated. Responsibilities: Generates commercial/industrial service-contract sales through various customer prospecting techniques such as cold calling, customer referrals, personal networking, and customer contact. Maintaining these commercial/industrial contracts by providing assistance with the replacement, retrofit, and renewal of service-contract sales. This would also involve dealing with commercial/industrial customers on HVAC needs and issues, delivering sales presentations, utilizing company-established sales process, and closing sales to provide the customer with the best solutions for the customer''s budget. While suggesting additional and/or alternative products or services to meet customer needs. Prepares and/or completes all required documentation for sale and/or Advantage programs and obtains customer''s signature. Actively maintaining the relationship with all commercial/industrial customers while supporting the ongoing relationships with these customers. This person should demonstrate professionalism, diplomacy, and tact to uphold company''s community reputation. While representing the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concerns. Utilizes the assessment tool and other relevant systems and information, prepares the proposal for the commercial/industrial customers. Explaining technical information to the customer in an easy-to-understand language and/or non-technical manner. Utilizes Service Experts marketing data, tools and promotions to maximize sales effectiveness. Works with administrative staff, installers, and General Manager to ensure that installation is scheduled and completed according to company standards and the customers are satisfied with the work and services. Conducts customer follow-ups on existing PMA contracts, service work and installations, This may include photographing customers site, completed installations and reviewing system operation. With existing customer contact this will involve requesting of referrals, Google and other multimedia reviews. Updates company systems following defined processes and procedures in order to process paperwork and information for new accounts and maintain records of results from all sales visits. Meets or exceeds set Key Performance Indicators including: Lead Generation Advantage (rental) Sales Some Service Agreement sales if required Revenue Growth Close Rate Average Ticket Price Effectively communicates with customers to resolve concerns, issues, or complaints in order to ensure total customer satisfaction. Comply with all Service Experts safety policies, procedures, and practices. Performs similar/other duties as assigned. Does not perform act that mayendanger the safety or well being of others Does not engage inany pranks, contests, or rough boisterous behavior. Works incompliance with applicable legislative standards. Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience. Proven sales experience with emphasis on business-to business selling, ''cold-calling'', and generating sales from personal networking and lead generation. Knowledge of commercial service sales concepts, practices, and procedures, Excellent communication skills and strong relationship-management skills. Ability to build long-term relationships with customers. Ability to work cooperatively with technical, administrative, and support staff. Solid skills working with Microsoft Office, contact management software, Excel, and databases. Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. A basic knowledge of large and medium-sized commercial and industrial HVAC services, with some construction sales preferred (or related industries). Self-starter with a desire to learn and to grow the business. Proficiency in estimating, preparing bids, and proposal documentation. Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service. Must be able to work independently and exercise judgment and discretion within authorized limits. Excellent written, verbal communication, and organizational skills. Basic knowledge of the fundamentals of the operational functionality of commercial heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment as well as related accessories. Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Understanding of basic business accounting to understand job costing, profit margin, and cost of sales. Understand and be able to use both the imperial and metric measurement systems. Ability to meet the bonafide occupational requirements of the position, which includes accessing commercial/industrial HVAC equipment which is often on a rooftop of the commercial building. Ability to read product data and to take measurements. Valid driver''s license with acceptable driving record.
