About the Role: As the Warehouse Lead at Friendlier, you will report to the Operations Lead. The Warehouse Lead Coordinates shipping and receiving of orders, inventory management between facilities, order fulfillment, processing of returns, assists operators as needed and ensures the warehouse is clean and organized at all times. Serves as a back up for the logistics coordinator, shift leads and operations lead. Ensures a safe and organized environment is maintained in the warehouse. Key Responsibilities: Manages day to day inventory. Ensure all orders are accurately shipped. Coordinate daily shipments and monitor inventory levels to meet future requirements. Communicates to the operations lead by providing daily/weekly updates regarding any potential issues or concerns. Leads weekly inventory alignment call with other facilities. Attends meetings as required Communicates effectively to all parties involved regarding orders, inventory or operation. Assists with ensuring that productivity, quality assurance and customer-service standards are met. Update inventory controls (Wash recipe) and hardcounts on a daily basis. Manages inventory supplies, and orders items as required. Serves as back-up for operators and shift leads when needed. Provides recommendations for continuous improvement activities. Actively promotes teamwork, and positivity throughout the warehouse. Ensures strict adherence to health and safety standards and warehouse organization while serving as an active partner in driving continuous improvement and fostering a robust safety culture alongside the JHSC and the team. Trained and certified to operate the walkie stalker. Must be available to work extended hours and overtime based on operational needs. What you Bring: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be proficient with excel/Google spreadsheets. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, WMS, is an asset. Minimum 2 years experience in a warehouse setting or 2 years working within friendlier, capable of full job rotation. Previous experience operating pump trucks and walkie stackers, a valid certificate would be considered an asset. Proven leadership experience in a warehouse setting. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to operate and navigate inventory management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Physical Requirements: Strength Guidelines: Must be able to lift up to 40lbs boxes repetitively. Motion Parameters: Must be able to stand throughout an 8 hour shift involving twisting, and lifting. Vision and Hearing Requirements: Will be required to use a computer or tablet throughout the shift. Psychological Demands: Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail. Working Conditions: This is a warehouse environment with material storage and handling equipment. Expect temperature and humidity fluctuations, odors, food residue and waste when handling used containers.
