About the Opportunity Lead or support engineering design changes, modifications, and upgrades through all phases of the engineering change process. Prepare, review, and approve engineering documents including specifications, calculations, drawings, and technical reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational requirements. Conduct technical assessments, field walkdowns, and evaluations to support project scope development and resolve technical challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding operations, maintenance, project management, and external vendorsto deliver effective engineering solutions. Provide technical oversight, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and designers. Ensure all engineering work is executed with a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence. Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned for operational events or equipment failures. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all design activities and changes. Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and risk assessments. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to engineering standards and best practices. About You Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Instrumentation & Controls) from a recognized institution. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligibility for professional registration. Demonstrated experience with engineering change control processes. Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in nuclear, power generation, or heavy industrial sectors. Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with engineering standards, regulatory codes, and procedures is an asset. Proficiency with engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, asset management systems, calculation tools).
