The primary responsibilities will be the analysis, execution and rating of infrastructure and project finance transactions, especially related to energy and power assets in the US and Canada. Evaluate innovative credit structures and participate in global criteria development. Identify trends, assess credit impact, and highlight findings in industry reports and presentations. Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data and legal documents to produce ratings, publish credit reports and contribute to special research reports. Develop strong relationships with other analytical groups to ensure consistency and efficient execution. Mentor junior team members. What You Need To Have 810 years of solid project finance experience in infrastructure, including developing credit or underwriting approaches for new sectors. Proven project finance and infrastructure credit skills gained in a bank credit department, rating agency, buyside credit department, etc. Solid writing and verbal communication skills. An open mind to think expansively about opportunities and risk in the evolving infrastructure landscape. Excellent modelling skills and thorough familiarity with spreadsheetbased financial models. Ability to read and fully comprehend complex structures and ask probing questions to issuers and advisers. Demonstrated ability to lead and handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment. Ability to work to tight deadlines and display flexibility to take on additional responsibilities. What Would Make You Stand Out Rating agency experience. Ratings advisory work. A deep understanding and interest in infrastructure and project finance. A professional background in capital markets and/or credit analysis. Experience interpreting complex legal documents such as bank agreements and bond indentures. A strong pattern of leadership and the ability to proactively interact with stakeholders. CFA designation.
