We are looking for a highly skilled DB2 Mainframe professional for one of the leading firms. Job Title DB2 Mainframe IMS Administrator Job Type Full-Time/Contract Responsibilities Participate in review of project and maintenance release artefacts Use Case, System Prepare and implement database changes according to design Promote database changes through Development, Integration Testing, QA, UAT, Production Prepare, install, configure Operating Systems, databases and database patches Maintain, administrate, tune performance of databases, e.g., IMS, DB2, Oracle Provide database space calculations for the supported database environments Perform reference data administration as required Design and write data loading and/or conversion scripts/stored procedures Maintain and enhance Mainframe to Oracle data replication utilizing Tibco IMS Data Replicator, Oracle stored procedures and GoldenGate Build and test database backup/recovery scripts Build and test database automation scripts Document and resolve any database problems/issues Required Skills Experience with IMS/DB2 to Oracle replication Extensive experience with largescale database systems development, capacity planning, configuration, maintenance, performance tuning Experience with database development, e.g., stored procedure, PL/SQL, PL/I, Cobol, Assembler Seniority Level MidSenior level Employment Type Fulltime Job Function Information Technology Industries Software Development and Technology Information and Media Application If interested, please apply via LinkedIn or share your profiles at [email protected] #J-18808-Ljbffr
