This is a hybrid role based out of our Surrey, BC head office . Do you enjoy coaching and mentoring Talent Acquisition team members while staying handson in a fastpaced, highvolume recruiting environment? Are you motivated by improving processes and driving meaningful change? In this role, youll coach and support TA team members while balancing a highvolume recruiting workload. Youll work closely with the broader People team to optimize Talent Acquisition operations, drive process improvements, and contribute to key projects blending handson recruiting with operational leadership. This is a 12month maternity leave cover . Expected Compensation: The expected hiring salary range for this role is $84,000 to $105,000 , based on a 35hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity. Youll lead daytoday recruitment operations while guiding members of our a highperforming Talent Acquisition team. With ownership of your own recruitment portfolio youll balance handson delivery with leadership, systems ownership, and continuous improvement. Working closely with HR and business leaders, youll bring datainformed insights to strengthen sourcing strategies, improve processes, and help develop the talent acquisition function at Westland. Experience leading projects and process improvements in People/HR operations, including sourcing strategy and recruitment workflows. Datadriven approach: skilled in analyzing recruitment metrics and making actionable recommendations. Proactive sourcer with experience in remote recruitment and teaching sourcing strategies to others. Excellent communicator, able to build trust and influence hiring managers, HR partners, and team members. Dayforce experience is a strong asset, including managing recruitment workflows, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Techsavvy and adaptable, proficient with MS Office, recruitment tools, and emerging technologies (including AI for process efficiency), thriving in a fastpaced, dynamic environment. Strong sense of urgency and prioritization, balancing highvolume requisitions while coaching others. Once here, youll: Mentor, and inspire a small number of recruiters, including regular 1:1s, coaching, and daytoday support Support onboarding and training for Talent Acquisition team members, including systems, processes, and ways of working Own a recruitment portfolio (high volume) with handson recruitment delivery Develop and guide effective sourcing strategies while ensuring adherence to recruitment standards and best practices Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs Manage recruitment escalations, including complex searches and hiring manager concerns Lead and contribute to Talent Acquisition initiatives under the direction of the Senior Manager, such as process improvements, documentation, and team learnings Own Dayforce recruitment operations, including troubleshooting, system optimization, and continuous improvement Use data and insights to improve recruitment processes, strengthen pipelines, and support proactive workforce planning #LI-LH1 #LI-Hybrid Want to get to know each other better?
