About the Engagement We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technology Architect to provide strategic guidance, enterpriselevel technical expertise, and Data Centre Network architectural leadership. You will support the development of Second Stage RFBs, influence infrastructure direction, and ensure alignment with OPS I&IT mandates, environmental considerations, and established service delivery frameworks. Scope Provide strategic architecture guidance for Data Centre Network (DCN) technologies and TierIV Data Centre environments. Support the development of Second Stage RFBs across multiple Data Centre Network technologies. Prepare/deliver strategic documentation, presentations, and financial models. Ensure alignment with OPS policies, standards, security frameworks, procurement processes, and environmental requirements. Assignment Deliverables Strategic architecture recommendations for DCN modernization. Documentation packages for Second Stage RFBs. Technical and financial evaluation models to support DCN decisionmaking. Compliance alignment reports and risk assessments. Expertise Required Must Have 10+ years experience designing and architecting enterprise nTier Data Centre Networks within TierIV environments. Demonstrated ability to prepare complex technical documentation for Enterprise Data Centre Networks (5+ years). Strategic expertise evaluating, analyzing, and developing Data Centre Network service strategies and provider models (7+ years). Strong background conducting business analysis for Data Centre service delivery models (Hybrid Cloud, Private/Public Cloud, IaaS/SaaS/PaaS). Prior Ontario Public Service (OPS) experience, with strong understanding of OPS policies and procurement processes. Nice to Have Experience supporting RFB/RFP development for publicsector or large enterprise infrastructure initiatives. Familiarity with OPS I&IT standards, frameworks, and enterprise architecture governance. Exposure to environmental sustainability considerations in Data Centre architecture. Handson understanding of automation tools, nextgeneration DC technologies, or network orchestration platforms. Security Clearance Required. Important This is a business-to-business engagement.
