As a Senior Software Engineer, Data Ecosystem youll work to: Build selfserviceable data experiences that enable customers to automate their analytical and reporting workloads. Create faulttolerant data pipelines (oftentimes in realtime), collecting data across several of Carta''''s microservices as well as thirdparty systems. Draft robust and sensible rolebased controls that enable customers to govern fractional access to their data. Leverage agentic AI technology to improve all aspects of the customer experience and our internal operational and developmental processes. Mentor emerging talent, fostering their growth and development. The Team Youll Work With The Data Ecosystem team is building Cartas Customer Data Warehouse: a centralized system that stores data all across and even outside of Carta. Our team works incredibly close with engineering and product leadership, real customers including CFOs and accountants, data engineers and data scientists, and several fullstack developers across all of Carta. If the following sounds like you, wed love to hear from you: You have 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer. You are able to work in an energetic and agile environment. You act as an owner, not just a contributor, by taking responsibility for outcomes, pushing through ambiguity, and championing solutions that improve team efficiency and business impact. You are eager to move fast, but recognize when to build for the future. You are familiar with data platforming technologies (Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, etc.). Cartas compensation package includes a marketcompetitive salary, equity for all fulltime roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commission plans.
