Senior Manager, Finance & Special Projects, GBM Finance (12 Month Contract) Requisition ID: 246901. The Senior Manager will be a shared resource between the Capital Markets and Business Banking Finance Business lines reporting to and supporting multiple teams. The Senior Manager will be primarily responsible for Financial Reporting, Planning & Forecasting, Financial Analysis & Visualizations, Reporting Processes re-design, and Anaplan implementation project support. GBM Finance is a divisional finance function providing financial management and analytical support to GBM Executive Management, as well as to Business Line Management in Capital Markets and Business Banking. Responsibilities Monthly & Quarterly Financial Reporting & Analysis Support the team with analysis of portfolio/balance sheet, net interest income, NIM, non-interest revenue, PCL and key performance metrics Muscle Financial Analytics & Visualization Review existing reporting processes, recommend and implement improvements to existing financial analysis using Power BI Apply visualizationbest practices to improve the communication and understandability of financial information Perform value-add deep-dives and ad-hoc analysis to provide actionable insights and communicate these to business stakeholders Reporting Processes Re-design Review existing data/excel reporting processes and make recommendations for improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy Comfortable with the legacy reporting stack including data sources from Hyperion, EGL, Access databases and Excel Implement approved process re-design solutions using Python, Alteryx, and Excel Anaplan Implementation Project Support in the creation of business requirement documents and user acceptance testing Create anditore controls and submit data upload files as needed Update project documentation Process Documentation Create detailed job-aids, training materials, desktop procedures and documentation of the current reporting and forecasting processes Qualifications & Skills University degree in Analytics, Finance, or a quantitative discipline MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant experience . A solid understanding of data visualization best practices for creating compelling financial dashboards Demonstrated experience in reporting processes re-design to increase data efficiency and accuracy Strong problem-solving, quantitative and analytical skills; attention to detail; ability to analyze business results and identify issues and trends Advanced user proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and other analytical tools such as Python and Alteryx Prior experience working within an Agile team and/or system implementations is considered an asset Good understanding of financial and management reporting principles Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate findings and present ideas in a clear and concise manner Whats in it for you?
