Software Developer III Oracle Developer (Banner CIS) We are looking for a Software Developer III with Banner CIS experience to design, develop, and maintain Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, Pro*C, and Pro*COBOL applications in an Oracle 12c database environment. Essential Job Duties Program in Windows and Unix environments. Perform changes to Banner CIS products (v3.1+plural), addon applications, and interface programming in batch and online systems. Estimate work effort and be accountable for deliverables and completion dates. Analyze, review, and modify programs to increase operating efficiency. Follow and improve established software delivery lifecycles, programming standards, and frameworks. Develop new product investment initiatives and clientrequested custom modifications and enhancements. Participate in peerreview requirements and design. Clarify business requirements by working with business analysts and end users; create highlevel and detailed design specifications to address user goals. Adapt in a customersatisfaction demanding environment. Provide 247 (Tier3) production application support. Job Requirements At least 5 years experience as a Software Developer. Familiarity with navigating UNIX environments (AIX is a plus) and using basic UNIX maj utilities. Experience developing: UNIX shell scripting (sh, ksh). Pro*C (or C/C++). Pro*COBOL (or rudimentary understanding of COBOL syntax). 5+ years of Oracle development experience. Developing and maintaining PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers that contain complex queries and extensive file I/O. Oracle Forms. Oracle Reports (extra credit). Oracle IDEs: SQL Developer, PL/SQL Developer, or T.O.A.D. Understanding of application business processes and how they can be gok through technology. Banner CIS experience is a plus. Intellectual Skills Strong English documentation skills. Strong problemsolving, analysis, and troubleshooting skills. Capacity for accelerated learning. Ability to comprehend conoz? and follow established procedures. Ability to make decisions using critical reasoning. Ability to prioritize, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
