Job Description

Base pay range CA$76,501.00/yr CA$96,582.00/yr Job Description The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring it runs smoothly and effectively. This includes managing scheduling, customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory, financial reporting, and safety. Additionally, the manager develops, motivates, and leads employees, creating business strategies to increase sales and capture market share, especially among large paint contractors and retail customers. Responsibilities Develop business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to store employees Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service Build and maintain knowledge of all products for effective customer recommendations Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers Complete store administration Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including safety, loss prevention, and security Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards Provide accurate and timely reporting as required Manage employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action Respond to and resolve any customer and/or employee complaints Partner with Sales Reps to make outside sales calls to increase market share Minimum Requirements Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment Must have a valid, unrestricted Drivers License Must have at least a high school diploma or a Certificate of Adult Education Completion (CAEC) Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion Must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role, supervising others, or leading teams Must have at least one year experience working in a retail, sales, or customer service position Preferred Qualifications Have previous work experience selling paint and paint related products Have work experience using time-keeping and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems Have an associate degree or higher in business, sales, or marketing Have at least one year of work experience as an Assistant Store or Branch Operations Manager for Sherwin-Williams Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language About Us At Sherwin-Williams, our purpose is to inspire and improve the world by coloring and protecting what matters.
