Job Specifications Practice Group: Private Capital, Performance Transformation Commercial Effectiveness (CE) Location: New York, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., Toronto, Houston, Dallas Role: Engagement Manager (Principal open) About the Role As an Engagement Manager, you will lead project teams in postdeal value creation and pricing/marketgotomarket due diligence. Specific responsibilities include: Leading consulting teams on commercial topics such as pricing, sales, and marketing developing hypotheses, managing data and analysis, conducting research, and surfacing insights. Guiding the team through hypothesis development, client data review, interview execution, and deliverable production. Synthesizing findings into written presentations; reviewing and discussing with clients and stakeholders. Coordinating project execution with excellent project management, workflow oversight, coaching, mentoring, and career development support. Building strong client relationships; presenting to senior executives and Csuite members. Communicating issues and solutions formally and informally, both verbally and in writing. Applying firm technical competencies to deliver successful projects. Guiding and influencing client and team thinking. Contributing to business developmentproposals, pitches, and postbooking followon opportunities. Assisting clients with implementation and change management to ensure adoption and measurable impact. Desired Skills and Experience 58+ years relevant experience for Engagement Managers; 8+ years for Principals. Background in management consulting or analogous projectoriented environments, focused on topline growth strategy, pricing, and gotomarket strategy. Deep knowledge of pricing, sales, and marketing analytics and commercial effectiveness tools. Understanding of private equity dynamics and operational frameworks. Demonstrated team leadership and collaborative work in fastpaced environments. Strategic problemsolving with analytical rigor. Exceptional verbal and written communication; experience presenting to senior leadership. Willingness to travel as needed. Committed to mentoring and developing diverse teams. Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. Designing incentive plans and scorecards for an insurance broker. Compensation Base salary range: $225,000 $240,000 (not guaranteed; based on experience, skills, location, etc.). The role may also be eligible for performancebased incentives.
