Job Summary The person serving in this role will develop new business and manage existing relationships across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and part of Ontario. As a remote position based in the Winnipeg region, you will create opportunities through telemarketing, customer visits, online research, industry events, and referrals. Key Responsibilities Establish new contacts to generate business opportunities through cold calling, industry events, lead investigation, prospecting, and closing sales while onboarding and training new customers. Open and build new relationships with prospective agencies and brokerages in the assigned territory. Increase unit count, premium, and interest margin by optimizing existing relationships and consistently adding new insurance brokers to the IPFS Canada portfolio. Conduct needs analyses for prospects and customers using available tools. Learn and effectively communicate IPFS Canada technology and service offerings to drive conversion and development of relationships. Foster good working relationships with the IPFS Canada operations team, including the dedicated account manager for the region. Preferred Skills 2-3 years of outside sales experience in financial services/insurance field or marketing experience within an insurance environment. High degree of selfmotivation, a selfstarter, and drive. Excellent communication, presentation, and sales/closing skills. Leadership skills and confidence in own abilities. Ability to earn trust with a wide variety of personality types. Passion for selling and a strong set of personal goals for achievement. Detailoriented and highly organized.
