About The Role We are seeking a proactive and technically proficient Hardware Support Specialist to join our expanding Torontobased team. In this crucial, customerfacing role, you will be the primary expert responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and ongoing operation of our innovative laundry payment systems. Providing handson support for both new system installations and existing hardware/software deployments. Serving as the subjectmatter expert on how our readers integrate with various laundry machines. Diagnosing and resolving hardware connectivity issues efficiently. Guiding users through the setup and configuration of our mobile TaptoPay app. Following an initial training period, this role will adopt a hybrid schedule, requiring 2 days in our Toronto office and allowing 3 days of remote work. Engaging effectively with both team members and physical hardware components during inoffice days and maintaining productivity and close communication while working from home. Schedule Saturday & Sunday plus 3 weekdays 11:00am 7:00pm (ET) Training Schedule (First8weeks): MondayFriday, 9:00am 5:00pm (ET) Location North York, Ontario (Accessible from the 401 and a 10minute walk from the TTC subway) About the Team Located in Toronto, our Laundroworks team is at the forefront of digitizing selfservice laundry facilities. Laundroworks develops an NFCbased payment system, wrapped in realtime connectivity and supported by advanced management software. Our technology is developed and manufactured inhouse, including connected reader modules that control the laundry machines, payment kiosks, management software, and a novel NFCbased TaptoPay App (which Apple is following developments on due to its unique approach). Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Proven ability to analyze technical problems and apply logical troubleshooting techniques. Comfortable working independently and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic, customerfocused environment. Ability to quickly learn and understand new technical systems, both hardware and software. Preferred Qualifications 13 years of experience in a customerfacing technical support role. Handson experience with hardware troubleshooting, particularly with connected devices or machinery. Familiarity with troubleshooting IT systems, including mobile apps, kiosks, or networkconnected modules. Experience supporting installations or field technicians is a plus.
