Overview Director of Business Development 3PL Services (Contract Logistics) A large 3PL business is seeking a Director of Business Development to spearhead expansion in 3PL services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative company committed to delivering excellence in contract logistics. Base pay range CA$250,000.00/yr - CA$260,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets in 3PL services Identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging market insights and relationships Build and maintain strong partnerships with clients, ensuring long-term collaboration and satisfaction Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs and drive operational excellence Lead negotiations and manage contracts to ensure favourable terms for all parties Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market Qualifications Proven track record in business development within the logistics and supply chain sector, specifically in 3PL services Strong network of industry contacts and the ability to build lasting relationships Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities Experience in managing complex contracts and delivering results in a fast-paced environment Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred Seniority level Director Employment type Full-time Job function Sales and Business Development Industries Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage and Warehousing #J-18808-Ljbffr
