About This Team The Technology sub-function provides strategic legal advice, support and guidance on guest omni-channel, payments, e-commerce and technology matters, including drafting, negotiating and reviewing guest facing terms and vendor contracts, advising on compliance requirements, developing policies relating to emerging technologies and supporting departments across the organization (Procurement, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Technology, and Digital). Responsibilities Partner with company stakeholders to gather information and approvals necessary for legal matters. Work with all members of the legal team across global office locations, including attorney and non-attorney personnel. Field and respond to inquiries from a variety of teams regarding legal processes. Draft, negotiate, and revise documents under the supervision of management and external general counsel. Build close cross-functional relationships with team members. Review, draft, and provide general legal counsel on corporate policies. Review and monitor law developments, advise business partners as necessary and address potential impact and risk to the company. Provide guidance and recommendations to business partners on appropriate current and pending legislation. Design a contracting best practices playbook in collaboration with other Legal team members. Collaborate with the global legal team to develop and implement best practices and policies. Qualifications 4-7 years of relevant legal experience as a practicing attorney (prior in-house experience preferred). J.D. or bachelors degree in law from a recognized university. Current member in good standing of the Washington State Bar or the British Columbia law society (or other Canadian or US jurisdiction). Knowledge of technology, omni-channel and e-commerce compliance, including terms and conditions, language requirements, accessibility, web-based consumer protection requirements (e.g., reviews) and applicable payment regulations. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple matters simultaneously in an entrepreneurial, rapidly scaling and changing environment. Keen attention to detail, strong execution, teamwork, and organizational skills. Good judgment with an understanding of when to ask for guidance or input. Understanding of remote vs. real risks. Compensation And Benefits Package lululemons compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $140,800-$184,800 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
