Position Summary A Dairy/Frozen Department Manager coordinates the merchandise and activities of associates in one or more departments of a Walmart store, managing modular integrity, perpetual inventory, merchandise, and customer service while upholding Walmarts core values. What Youll Do Assist the management team with supervision of the department, including mentoring, assigning duties, and recognizing hourly associates. Order merchandise on time. Maintain zero pricing errors (e.g., Scanning Credibility Program). Adhere to standards and policies for coldchain compliance, thermometer calibration, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sellby dates, and expiration dates. Follow foodsafety and cleaning procedures. Execute proper procedures for markups/markdowns, price changes, labeling, clearance, and competition pricing. Handle customer complaints, examine returned merchandise, and resolve issues to maintain good public relations. Follow departmental and shrink budgets. Compensation The minimum hourly rate for this position start at $19.35, with pay determined based on relevant experience. Minimum Qualifications Age 16 or older.
