What Youll Do In this role, you''''ll be instrumental in the delivery and implementation of key HR initiatives and own management and improvement of employee relations, engagement, leadership development, talent and performance management, payroll and benefits administration and broadbased people strategies for the Canadian region. This will be achieved through a direct and consultative partnership with the HR corporate team and local leadership teams. Furthermore, as the HR Director, you''''ll play a pivotal role in enhancing our focus and commitment to improving employee experience, retention, and fostering a highperformance culture that aligns with the companys core values. DayToDay Responsibilities Act as strategic and trusted advisor to leadership teams, enhance relationships, guide performance and promote company culture while upholding policies. Collaborate with HR COEs and other team members to leverage all programs, tools and technology, driving implementation while influencing proactively around business needs. Champion employee engagement, and act as steward for performance management and goal setting, resolving issues and coaching leaders and employees. Manage organizational risk and ensure legal compliance by addressing and resolving investigations in collaboration with HR, managers and legal, managing the highestrisk issues directly. Manage compensation planning, promotions in alignment with compliance, pay practices and Learning and Development. Facilitate career development programs, ensuring that talent pipelines are aligned with organizational growth objectives and that team members have clear advancement pathways and the support to progress their careers. Conduct regular audits of the workplace, stay updated on relevant issues and regulations, and analyze HRrelated data to advise management. Analyze data that may include turnover reporting, headcount summaries, exit interview data, internal/external market data to drive improvement and identify proactive programs to deliver. Lead and oversee talent acquisition efforts for assigned business units or divisions, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver effective recruitment strategies; manage and provide guidance to the recruiting team. Manage and provide strategic oversight to the payroll and benefits team, ensuring accurate processing, compliance with regulations, and driving process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and employee experience. Manage HR generalists to ensure a cohesive and strategic approach to executing on delivery of corporate initiatives and assigned clients. Collaborate with business leaders and internal team members to improve organizational business and HR performance; participating in activities that result in streamlining HR operations. Collaborate in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization, adhere consistently with all organizational policies and core values. Work collaboratively with process owners to plan, transition and execute processes to achieve goals, simplify, reduce costs, prevent risk and ensure work is completed accurately, delivered on time as expected. Build organizational capability through continuous improvement activities, improve existing conditions and processes, generate ideas, and implement solutions. Promote and support enterprisewide culture and belonging initiatives. Lead change management and integration efforts ensuring a successful employee experience. Identify, track and report meaningful performance/progress metrics and support the team with achieving performance goals. Educate managers and employees on HR policies, plans, programs, practices, processes, and tools. Perform other related duties as required or requested. Perform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the corporate team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives. MustHaves Bachelors degree in a related field. 710 years in progressive HR Management or HR Director related experience. 35 years experience with a multinational Fortune 500 Company preferred. Previous managerial/supervisory experience, with demonstrable achievements in building talent, process, and systems capability. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities. French language written and spoken would be a great asset.
