Base pay range $40.00/hr - $46.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Insight Global Insight Global is seeking a product Support Maintenance Engineer to join the Engineering Capability team at a large aerospace and manufacturing company fully onsite in Oklahoma City, OK. This role involves working closely with internal employees and contractors to support Maintenance Engineering activities across various programs. Responsibilities: Analyze complex engineering designs and modifications to determine maintenance and repair needs, procedures, and instructions. Influence product designs and processes to ensure they are supportable and maintainable. Develop and utilize fault isolation procedures and techniques. Create system theory descriptions to ensure a common understanding of systems and components. Conduct engineering analyses to verify the accuracy of maintenance and repair data. Develop and support the creation and review of logistics support documentation, including Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Product Support Analysis Plans (PSAP), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), support equipment recommendation data (SERD), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and other logistics supportability analysis (LSA) documents. Provide technical solutions to customers and evaluate their maintenance operations. Develop procedures and techniques to enable users to maintain and repair products by collaborating closely with program management and engineering teams to accomplish tasks. Compensation: $40/hr to $46/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills/Experience Bachelors Degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering. 1-2 years of experience reading and interpreting aircraft engineering drawings and/or process specifications. 1-2 years of experience with aircraft technical manuals, task relationships, and familiarity with Technical Orders and/or Technical Order System requirements or equivalent. Understanding and interpretation of engineering data with previous experience using Technical Orders to maintain military aircraft. Pluses/Desired Skills & Experience Experience with Product Support Analysis (PSA), LSA, GEIA-STD-0007, or MIL-HDBK-502A. Proficiency in using LSA software applications, models, and databases (e.g., SLICwave, EAGLE, PowerLOG-J, Compass). Experience using and applying military and commercial Maintenance Manual Publications, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Overhaul Manuals, Drawings, Technical Orders, and Parts Illustrated Manuals, Wiring Diagrams for aircraft systems Maintenance Planning. Experience with any of the following: Radar, Computer (Mission), Communication Navigation, Power Plant, Avionics, Hydraulics, or Electrical & Environmental systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex technical information and make informed decisions. Experience in commercial or military airworthiness certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Ability to review military detailed work instructions, read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or specifications. Understanding the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance. At least 1 year of experience with cost account and project engineering management. Aircraft experience working with B-52 Bombers or AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System).
