Position You will be part of a crossfunctional engineering team in the role of Jr. Process Designer (Or Engineer if you hold a P.Eng.). You will develop and deliver conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design packages through to CQV for GMPcompliant integrated process equipment and unit operations used in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical drug substances and products. Responsibilities Design Basis Development Process Alternatives Evaluations User Requirement Specifications (URS) Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) Process Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Process Integration of Unit Operations Equipment Plot Plans and Layout Drawings Equipment Sizing and Specification Commissioning & Qualification Protocol Development and Execution Skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Ability to manage and coordinate crossfunctional project teams. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Selfdirected, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal oversight. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced multitasking environment. Location The primary work location will be in our main Oakville, ON office. However, a significant aspect of the role will involve intermittent international travel, including extended periods (up to 50%) spent at equipment vendors for Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and at the client''''s site for Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) activities.
