This role manages vendor partnerships, coordinates internal teams for secured rollout, and maintains the integration platform to support enterprise growth and AI adoption. Were committed to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive, and were proud to support over 1,500 businesses across Canada with our health and wellness solutions. **What Youll Do:*** Own the integration strategy and architecture to connect AI solutions, 3rd-party applications, and Medcans core systems.* Work closely with the integration vendor to ensure solutions are designed and implemented according to Medcans standards for scalability, security, and compliance.* Coordinate with internal teams for testing, validation, documentation, and rollout of integration projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.* Define and enforce integration governance, including API versioning, security policies, and performance SLAs.* Ensure MCP (Model Context Protocol) readiness for agentic AI integrations and establish standards for onboarding AI tools and services.* Oversee end-to-end delivery of integration projects: requirements gathering, design review, testing coordination, deployment, and documentation.* Analyze existing integration patterns and technologies; identify opportunities for modernization and optimization.* Implement observability and monitoring for integration components; ensure timely resolution of incidents and root cause analysis.* Maintain compliance with privacy, security, and healthcare regulations (PIPEDA, PHIPA) across all integration points.* Drive continuous improvement by introducing best practices for integration, automation, and DevOps in a lean team environment.**What Youll Need:*** Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred).* Experience: 5+ years in systems integration or enterprise application connectivity, with at least 3+ years in a lead or architect role.* Experience with Salesforce Sales, Marketing cloud and Accuro EMR would be an asset.* Proven expertise in Azure Integration Services, including: + Azure API Management (APIM) for API design, governance, and security. + Azure Function Apps for serverless integration logic. + Azure Service Bus for messaging and event-driven workflows. + Azure App Service for hosting integration components and APIs. + Azure Key Vault for secrets and credential management. + Azure Application Insights for monitoring and observability. + Azure Synapse for Data Integration and ETL Pipelines.* Strong knowledge of API design principles (REST, OpenAPI/Swagger), API security (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS), and governance best practices.This is a full-time hybrid position (2 days in office) working 40 hours per week based on business needs between regular office hours Monday Saturday (8 AM - 5 PM).
