We work alongside Wealth, Small Business, and Mobile Mortgage Specialists to support our members holistic financial growth. As a Senior Financial Services Associate You will join a team of highly engaged professionals dedicated to providing an exceptional Member Experience. Your primary responsibilities will involve understanding members financial needs, offering appropriate advice and recommendations, and managing member portfolios to build longterm relationships. You will also be accountable for meeting and exceeding specific individual and teambased business goals. What youll do Member Experience Understand how Meridians products and services add value to our members. Provide investment advice by identifying and promoting solutions that meet member needs. Recommend credit products based on accurate underwriting skills. Engage in revenue generation and sales activities to achieve performance objectives and build external centres of influence. Use tools to proactively identify and promote opportunities with all members for deeper relationships and flawless service experiences. Leverage virtual technology platforms to host meetings and engage members through impactful communication. Maintain discretion and confidentiality to respect member privacy. Employee Experience Build and cultivate internal relationships within the Member Experience teams and crossfunctional departments. Communicate openly, promote inclusivity, and foster belonging. Engage in individual learning and development aligned with Meridian values. Participate in the leadership teams planning process and provide feedback. Act as a leader and role model when the Branch Manager is away. Community Experience Promote Meridian Credit Union in your community by engaging in community activities or events while demonstrating Company Values. Support local community organizations through Business Development and Good Neighbour Program activities. What you can bring to Meridian Postsecondary education with at least 3 years of equivalent experience in a financial services environment and a consistent track record in sales. Strong business and financial industry knowledge with a desire for career growth within the sector. MFDA licensing is required for most roles. Flexibility to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and Saturdays. Proficiency with computer systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook. Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including coaching and leadership abilities. Effective organizational, timemanagement, and problemsolving skills. Salary Range CAD$52,000$78,000 annually. Compensation depends on skills, experience, and internal equity. Higher placement may apply within the range.
