About the Role We are looking for an AI Engagement Tech Lead to join our growing team and drive the deployment and evolution of our MarTech platform and solutions. This is a hands-on leadership roleideal for someone who still loves to ship code but is equally passionate about tackling client challenges, shaping technical direction, and collaborating cross-functionally. As a Tech Lead, youll serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), partnering with the core client team and our platform team on long-term architecture, collaborating with Product Managers on roadmap planning, and working with other Technical Leads across the organization to ensure cohesion and scalability in everything we build. Responsibilities: Serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert for our client teams, owning the technical direction and quality of solutions designed and deployed. Act as the primary technical liaison to client technology leadership during implementation, guiding the approval of all proposed technical solutions. Lead discovery of current state tech stack versus ambition, and work with our Platform Team to deliver a roadmap for implementation. Drive continuous improvement and innovation, including extended integrations with client technology and data systems beyond the immediate project scope. Own the ongoing reliability and effectiveness of our technology throughout the lifecycle of our engagement and ensure our clients are set up for success. Contribute directly to our MarTech platform''''s priorities and roadmap, working with our internal engineering team on technical architecture and long-term planning so they are always aligned with the needs and vision for our client engagement. Lead technical workshops and planning sessions with our client both onsite and virtually. About You The essentials: 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally across the full stack. 3+ years of people management experience (Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar). Comfortable in a hybrid technical/data role, bridging engineering and data-driven decision-making. Solid understanding of secure integrations, API authentication, and OAuth 2.0 flows. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm in production. Familiarity with domain-driven design or clean architecture patterns. Not a must, but a plus: Background working in high-compliance environments (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.). Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools. What We Offer Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
