Opportunity Cohen Immigration Law, the team behind CanadaVisa.com, is pivoting from a hightouch legal service model to a highvelocity, techenabled operation. We are building a scalable infrastructure to serve tens of thousands of Canadian immigration clients annually. Mandate As Operations Architect, you will own the firms internal systems and performance infrastructure. Your primary objective is to increase throughput capacity while maintaining our high standards of quality. Responsibilities Architect a HighVelocity Workflow Lead the architectural shift from a ServiceBased to a TechEnabled operation. Work with our Technology team to integrate AI into document review and client communications, reducing file review time by more than half. Build logic and workflows that deliver a standardized, limitedscope product without the friction of traditional fullservice representation. Scale the Team Recruit and scale a new operational unit of techsavvy operators capable of executing highvolume file reviews. Design onboarding programs that train staff on the new highvelocity methodology, ensuring they understand the distinction between traditional representation and our guided review model. Architect the structure for a growing distributed team, ensuring culture, accountability, and communication scale effectively. Own the Unit Economics Track file velocity, error rates, and throughput per agent to keep our pricing model profitable. Operationalize a target of 20 file reviews per week per agent, up from the current baseline of ~2. Implement rigorous QA protocols to support automation and speed with accountable human review and brand standards. Ideal Candidate Profile Zero to One Operator Experience turning a manual, undefined process into a streamlined, scalable system. SolutionOriented First instinct is to build a better system or automate the task rather than hire more people. TechNative Comfortable evaluating, rolling out, and enforcing modern SaaS tools (Clio, Metabase, RingCentral). SaaS Mindset Recognize that a lowercost, highvolume product requires ruthless efficiency and standardization. DataDriven Use metrics and logs to identify bottlenecks, not intuition. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Operations, business administration, or a related managerial role. Experience scaling teams (hiring, onboarding, management) during a growth phase. Proven track record of implementing technology to solve operational challenges. Asset Experience in LegalTech, EdTech, FinTech, or a highvolume professional services environment.
