Responsibilities Manage forensic accounting engagements and ensure high-quality work (insurance claim quantification, fraud investigations, litigation-related damage assessments) Lead the planning and execution of investigative and dispute-related projects, analyze financial data, and prepare recommendations Review and finalize forensic accounting reports Communicate with clients, lawyers, insurers, and internal teams to discuss file issues and present findings Develop and maintain strong client relationships and oversee key operational aspects of engagements Attend client sites when required Prepare schedules, analyses, and reports for forensic accounting files Apply technical expertise, laws, regulations, and standards to formulate recommendations Participate in technical work and business development initiativesUse sound judgment to make decisions on both routine and complex matters Perform other related duties as needed Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience in forensic accounting, including experience with commercial insurance loss quantification CPA designation required; additional certifications (CIP, CBV, CFE, CFF) are considered assets Strong analytical, accounting, and auditing skills Solid knowledge of insurance loss quantification and claims consulting processes Advanced understanding of professional standards, regulations, and industry best practices Detail-oriented, well-organized, self-driven, and motivated to lead Excellent written and verbal communication skills Seniority level Director Employment type Full-time Job Function Accounting/Auditing Industries Business Consulting and Services Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr
